Integrative Nutrition Counseling
Do you have nutrition questions about feeding your children well, lowering your cholesterol, increasing your metabolism, managing diabetes or your weight? If you do, Jeanne Peters and her staff of nutrition and health experts can help. They will develop a personalized nutrition plan that can provide specific strategies to help you achieve your nutrition and fitness goals.
What You Can Expect:
- An initial appointment will take 75 minutes and will include a complete review of your medical history and current nutritional and lifestyle habits. You will need to bring:
- any recent blood work to the session to use for review
- a list of all the medications and supplements you are using
- During your sessions, Jeanne and her staff will help you develop:
- a personalized plan of action including a shopping list, menu and supplement ideas and a fitness prescription
- Information will be sent to your primary care doctor as a courtesy if desired
- You may need to book a few sessions as follow-up to ensure that you have the skills set to support your healthier lifestyle
- In a future session, Jeanne may provide
- Body Fat Testing using the RJL bio-impedance program
- A half hour review and recommendations on your current supplements and nutrients needed as a result of nutrient/ medication interactions
- Family or Couple sessions for further support
- Store tours to Trader Joes and/or Whole foods
Integrative Nutrition Counseling Programs & Fees
- Initial Consultation: $195.00/ 75 minutes
- Monthly Food Coaching Program: $100.00 (2 – 30 min sessions by phone or in-person) E-mail communication is included in the monthly fee.
- Nutritional In-Home Cooking Classes: $100.00/hour. Learn how to make delicious, nutritious foods your whole family will enjoy through classes conveniently conducted in your home. Our staff will show you the tricks to making foods taste delicious without added fat, salt, or sugar. Kids are welcome to join in the fun. Includes personalized meal ideas and recipes.
Nourishing Well Coaching Support Programs
At Nourishing Wellness, we believe there is no such thing as a quick fix to wellness. Our goal is to give you the personal attention, motivation, tools, and accountability you need to reach your best-ever level of health and wellness. Together we’ll identify your personal vision for your health and identify priorities and goals in one or more areas including fitness, weight, nutrition, stress, and health. We will also discuss the behavioral science principles which are important for you to be successful in developing a healthier lifestyle. We believe that the best approach is to help you take small, sustainable steps toward your wellness goals, one week at a time, for as long as you need.
